Line Fit
Compare cruise lines by atmosphere, dining, ship style, itinerary depth, and what is actually included.
Cruise Travel Advisor
Compare the cruise line, ship, itinerary, cabin, fare choices, inclusions, and total value—with advisor judgment.
Send me the sailing you are considering. I will compare the tradeoffs a booking engine cannot resolve and help decide whether it fits the way you want to travel.

Where I Help
The right cruise depends on how the ship, cabin, fare, itinerary, timing, and total trip plan fit together. I help sort the details before they become expensive assumptions.
Not every line fits every traveler. I help compare atmosphere, dining, entertainment, service style, age profile, ship size, and overall value.
Ports matter, but so do arrival times, sea days, tender ports, overnight stays, route logic, and whether the itinerary gives you enough time ashore.
A better cabin choice can affect sleep, motion, convenience, view, accessibility, and noise. The lowest price is not always the best value.
Cruise pricing can hide tradeoffs in drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities, specialty dining, shore excursions, refundable deposits, and promotion rules.
Flights, hotels, transfers, pre-cruise nights, post-cruise extensions, and timing all matter. A cruise is often only one part of the trip.
I help flag payment deadlines, cancellation terms, insurance timing, documentation needs, and practical issues that can affect the trip.
Private Rates & Advisor Access
In some cases, I may have access to private, unpublished, or advisor-access cruise offers that are not visible on public booking engines. They are not available on every sailing and are never guaranteed, but when they apply, they can materially change the value of a cruise. I also check whether verified eligibility for military and first responder travel discounts could improve the offer; availability and terms vary by supplier.
Recently booked directly? You may still be able to transfer the reservation to me. If so, I can review the booking, look for better value, and give you someone in your corner before you sail.
Find Your Cruise Style
A lively resort at sea, a quiet ocean journey, a small yacht, or a river ship: start with the experience you want, then compare the lines that fit. These categories overlap. The right recommendation still depends on the ship, itinerary, cabin, dates, and total cost.
Choice & energy
For travelers who want plenty of dining, entertainment, and ways for a family or group to spend the day. The specific ship matters as much as the cruise line.
What I compare: Ship class, crowds, cabin layout, and the cost of packages.
Comfort & cuisine
For travelers who put dining, service, and a comfortable onboard rhythm high on the list. These lines offer distinct approaches to premium comfort and destination travel.
What I compare: Ship atmosphere, dining access, balcony design, and fare inclusions.
An adult atmosphere
Virgin’s contemporary, social atmosphere and Viking’s quieter, culture-focused approach show why adults-only is a starting point for comparison, not a single cruise style.
What I compare: Evening energy, enrichment, dress expectations, and time ashore.
Space & personal service
For travelers seeking more space, attentive service, and a more inclusive onboard experience. Compare what each fare covers with what you will actually use.
What I compare: Suite design, shore experiences, dining, drinks, and the full trip cost.
Access & time ashore
For travelers drawn to smaller ports, a more intimate ship, and days shaped by the destination. Compare Azamara and Windstar at sea, or Victory on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence.
What I compare: Port hours, tendering, ship facilities, motion, and mobility needs.
Scenery & discovery
For travelers who want a moving base for towns, cities, and landscapes. European and U.S. rivers offer different experiences; the route, season, and touring pace should lead the choice.
What I compare: Excursion choices, cabin windows, docking, water levels, and inclusions.
Considering an expedition? Explore guides to HX Expeditions, National Geographic–Lindblad Expeditions, PONANT Explorations, UnCruise Adventures, and Scenic. Seabourn and Silversea also offer expedition journeys. Compare the specific expedition ship, landing program, physical demands, and destination conditions separately from conventional ocean cruises.
Then Choose the Route
Once the onboard style feels right, look closely at what the itinerary lets you experience.

Compare glacier visits, port hours, wildlife opportunities, cabin views, and whether a land extension belongs in the plan.

My featured cruise is an adults-only Virgin Voyages sailing from San Juan through the ABC islands and the southern Caribbean.
This is the kind of sailing where planning matters: cabin selection, fare type, arrival timing, shore experiences, and group value can all affect the final trip. If you are considering a Caribbean cruise, this is a strong place to start.
