At Tradecraft Travel, I design travel with intention. Every journey is shaped around your interests, timeline, and budget–whether that means selecting the right off-the-shelf option or building something entirely new from the ground up.
I specialize in customized itineraries that reflect how you want to travel. From initial concept to final booking, I focus on thoughtful planning, clear communication, and details that matter.
No templates. No one size-fits-all solutions.
Tradecraft Travel has a particular focus on group travel, including:
Academic and educational groups
Alumni, professional, and affinity groups
Friends and family traveling together
Special-interest groups centered on history, culture, or sports fandom
Group travel requires coordination, clarity, and experience. I manage logistics, timelines, and expectations so the group experience is seamless and enjoyable.
Drawing on deep professional and personal experience, I design trips that emphasize:
Historical context and meaningful sites
Cultural immersion and local insight
Educational and academic themes
Museums, landmarks, lectures, and curated experiences
These journeys go beyond sightseeing, offering depth, perspective, and purpose. I hold a professional certification from Collette Tours.
Cruises are a core offering, whether as standalone vacations or as part of a larger itinerary. I provide expert guidance on:
Cruise line and ship selection
Cabin categories and onboard experiences
Shore excursions and port planning
Pre- and post-cruise land extensions
I help clients navigate the many options to find the cruise that truly fits their travel style.
I hold professional certifications from Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, and Virgin Voyages.
Tradecraft Travel works in two ways:
Advising on established travel products such as cruises, tours, and packaged experiences
Developing custom itineraries from scratch for travelers seeking something unique.
In both cases, recommendations are driven by your goals—not commissions or convenience.
Some complex, highly customized itineraries require significant research, design, and planning time. In those cases, Tradecraft Travel reserves the right to charge a consultation or planning fee. Any such fee will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before work begins—no surprises.
I’m happy to book airfare for clients when it adds real value—especially for international trips, complex routings, stopovers, or special fares like student or cruise rates. If a simple domestic flight is best booked directly, I’ll say so plainly, because my role is to give you clear, honest advice, not to force a service you don’t need.
Travel planning isn’t complete without protection. Tradecraft Travel works with Allianz Travel Insurance and strongly recommends travel insurance coverage for all clients. Allianz offers comprehensive options that can protect your investment against trip cancellations or interruptions, medical emergencies, travel delays, and other unforeseen events. Coverage recommendations are tailored to the type of trip you are taking—whether a cruise, international travel, or complex group itinerary—so you can travel with confidence knowing you’re protected if plans change.
