Payment Terms & Conditions

SUMMARY

  • We accept credit cards and Zelle. Personal checks are not accepted. By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions shown here.
  • Credit card payments are secure and processed by a third party; we do not store card numbers.
  • Zelle payments must be sent from your bank to our designated business account and are not reversible once sent.
  • Many trips require deposits and final payments based on supplier deadlines. Missing a payment deadline can result in cancellation.
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators, not Tradecraft Travel.
  • If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it before involving your bank or card issuer.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment by major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and Zelle® bank transfers. Personal checks are not accepted.

Payment Authorization

By submitting payment, you authorize Tradecraft Travel LLC to charge the selected payment method for the agreed-upon amount. Credit card payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party processors. Tradecraft Travel does not store full credit card numbers.

Zelle Payments

Zelle payments must be initiated by the client from their bank account to the designated Tradecraft Travel Zelle address. Zelle payments are considered cleared once received and confirmed. Clients are responsible for ensuring payment is sent to the correct recipient. Zelle payments are not reversible once completed.

Zelle payment instructions, including the recipient address, will be provided directly to clients at the time of invoicing.

Deposits & Final Payments

Many travel arrangements require deposits and/or staged payments based on supplier terms. Deposit amounts, final payment due dates, and payment schedules will be clearly communicated prior to booking. Failure to make payments by the stated deadlines may result in cancellation of services and loss of deposits paid to suppliers.

In cases where suppliers require Tradecraft Travel to submit payment, we reserve the right to require payment as much as one week before the supplier’s deadline.

Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds are governed by the terms and conditions of individual travel suppliers (including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators). Tradecraft Travel acts as an intermediary and cannot override supplier policies. Any applicable refunds will be issued to the original form of payment when possible.

Any service fees charged by Tradecraft Travel such as for itinerary planning are separate from and not covered by supplier terms and conditions. Such fees may be non-refundable.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Clients agree to contact Tradecraft Travel directly to resolve any payment concerns before initiating a chargeback or dispute. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution with us may result in additional fees and suspension of future services. Documentation including invoices, correspondence, and supplier policies may be provided to payment processors in the event of a dispute.

Pricing & Fees

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may include supplier-imposed fees, taxes, and surcharges that are outside the control of Tradecraft Travel. Credit card processing fees are included unless explicitly disclosed otherwise.

Payment Timing & Service Delivery

Travel services are not considered confirmed until payment has been received and acknowledged. Delays in payment may result in loss of availability, pricing changes, or cancellation by suppliers.

Fraud Prevention

For fraud prevention, Tradecraft Travel reserves the right to request additional verification for credit card payments, including government-issued identification or signed authorization forms for higher-value transactions.

Agreement to Terms

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Payment Terms & Conditions, as well as the applicable supplier terms associated with your booking.

Another Payment Option to Consider: Flex Pay by Upgrade

Many clients find Flex Pay by Upgrade to be an attractive way to pay. It allows eligible travelers to finance their trip over time rather than paying the full cost upfront, and some loans are interest-free. Further, unlike many credit cards, you will never pay interest on top of unpaid interest. You can also use Flex Pay to gift travel to others (or have it gifted to you). Also, you do not need to pay it off before your vacation starts, so it works particularly well for those last-minute getaways.

Here’s how it works, at a high level: once the total cost of your trip is confirmed, you can apply for approval through Upgrade before you are otherwise financially committed to the quoted travel.
  • The pre-approval process uses a soft credit check, which does not affect your credit score.
  • If approved, you’ll be offered payment terms. This will give you a chance to compare them to those you might otherwise use like your credit card.
  • If you choose to proceed, Upgrade generates a virtual credit card, which you then use to pay for your travel arrangements.
A few important notes:
  • Approval, interest rates, and terms are determined solely by Upgrade.
  • Flex Pay is optional and entirely your choice.
  • This financing is offered through Upgrade, not through Tradecraft Travel or the travel supplier(s).
For full details, including eligibility, fees, interest rates, and repayment terms, I strongly recommend reviewing Upgrade’s official documentation
